Sadie is an intrepid fibre-file who can be found knitting, spinning, dying, or designing knit patterns when she’s not at work. Her sock pattern “Mermaid’s Lagoon” can be found in the Summer ’09 issue of Knitty.com.
She is currently taking a break from academia after compleating her BA in Anthropology, but will return to do her MA in the Winter.
Be sure to keep up with her knitting, spinning, dyeing (and occasionally weaving) exploits here.
sadie is the stardust caught in my looking glass. better than a firefly in a jar and much better than a june bug on a string.
Love your podcast. At last a fiber person who talks about music & other stuff. Because fiber people are intelligent.
Are you on ITunes? I did a search and didn’ t see you. But I will just bookmark your blog.
I am amazed by all the weekly blogs. How can anyone have enough going to finish something every week? Not me, but I am so happy you and some other cool people do.
