About sadieruin

Sadie is an intrepid fibre-file who can be found knitting, spinning, dying, or designing knit patterns when she's not at work. Her sock pattern "Mermaid's Lagoon" can be found in the Summer '09 issue of Knitty.com. Be sure to keep up with her knitting, spinning, dyeing (and occasionally weaving) exploits here.

    • Oh yes, I will put it up there eventually, there’s a bit of a sizing thing so it might cut some of it off I still have to play with it more, Beck is super busy these days and I’m already pestering her for the T-shirt resize so 😉 I have to try and do this on my own.

  1. Another fantastic episode. I look forward to catching up with you every week. (Did you get my plurk message about $$ for the shirts?)

I am working hard toward that cardigan. I am down 3 lbs, 7 to go and hubby has to buy the yarn!!!

    • Yes yes I did, I’m going to call a few places here tomorrow hopefully, and then compare pricing. 🙂
The applied lace border is taking longer than the body itself took but man is it coming out pretty. I need to start thinking about weight watchers… not that I don’t love being big and beautiful, but I could do with some post-winter shedding.

  2. Loved the episode. Love the lace edging on the cardigan. It is gorgeous!

My husband LOVES Amanda Palmer. Seriously. As in, she’s his freebie fling. 🙂

    • LOL well we can safely say your husband has darn fine taste.
I love the lace edging too, I wish I could do more of it at a time though, knitting it on I find that it gets really heavy and my wrists get sore and require more frequent resting than when I’m knitting socks. Love the pattern, love love love.
